Simon Barnett

Simon Barnett MB BS BSc MSc MRCPsych 

Simon has worked as a consultant psychiatrist since 1995, both in the NHS and independent sectors. He has worked primarily in secure forensic services and also has experience of working in community services. An adult psychiatrist, he has worked with individuals with severe mental illness, intellectual disability, autistic spectrum condition and personality disorder and has worked with both male and female service users. 

He has served as an Expert Witness on many occasions and has particular experience in depression and stress-related disorders. Dr Barnett has recently taken up a post in forensic rehabilitation at Kneesworth House Hospital in Hertfordshire.
