Rickard has been working as a self-employed farrier since 2000. Since 2017 he has been employed by the Specialist horse hospital Strömsholm. Evidensia Strömshom are the second largest horse clinic in Sweden. Rickard took his CF 2002. He took his Swedish master farrier exam and became an approved farrier by the Swedish Board of Agriculture 2013. He became an Associate Worshipful Company of Farriers 2022. During these years he has also been competing in farriery i.e. Stoneleigh international team competition 7 times and in many more competitions. He works closely with the surgeons, orthopaedics and Equi therapists.
