Mathieu de Preux

Mathieu de Preux Dr med vet., Dipl ECVS, FVH, EVD 

Mathieu grew up and studied veterinary medicine in Switzerland. He started his professional life in a private referral clinic and ambulatory practice, before moving back to the university to do a surgery residency. He is currently employed as a clinical instructor at the ISME equine clinic of the University of Bern, where he enjoys being involved in all aspects of equine surgery. In parallel to his clinical work, he is doing a PhD on potential new therapies to treat trigeminal-mediated headshaking, and he is also pursuing projects on computer-assisted surgery, which was the main research topic of his residency.
