Jonathon Dixon

Jonathon Dixon BVetMed MVetMed DipECVDI MRCVS 

Jonathon qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2011 and joined Rainbow Equine Hospital as an intern for 18 months. Shortly following this he developed interests in advanced imaging, namely CT and MRI. Jonathon then completed a three-year senior clinical training scholarship at the RVC in large animal diagnostic imaging before returning to Rainbow to head the diagnostic imaging services. In 2017 he became a board-certified European Specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging, and the following year an RCVS specialist in large animal diagnostic imaging. In 2022 he became a clinical director at Rainbow Equine Hospital, where he continues to develop specific interests including head and cervical spine imaging with particular relevance to CT, and distal limb comparative imaging.
